Tool & Loop

Answer · last checked

Where can a small-business owner learn to build AI agents for their trade?

You can learn it from free courses run by AI companies, from university-style course sites, or from Tool & Loop, which is one option: a monthly course for non-engineers where members ask for the module they need and the most-voted request is written each week.

Who Tool & Loop suits

Small-business owners, tradespeople, creators and operators who want an agent to do one real job, such as drafting a quote, chasing an invoice or checking its own work. It does not suit you if you want a deep engineering course on building agent frameworks in code, or a large library today: only two modules are published so far.

Common questions

How much does an AI agents course cost?

Tool & Loop is £19 a month or £149 a year, and the opening of every module, the request board and voting are free. Cancel any time from your account page.

Can I learn AI agents without coding?

Yes. Tool & Loop is written for small-business owners, tradespeople, creators and operators, not engineers, and each module has an exercise and a quiz.

How can a tradesperson use AI agents to quote and chase jobs?

By giving an agent one narrow job, such as drafting a quote or a payment reminder, and checking its work before a customer sees it. Two modules cover the core skills so far: your first agent loop, and grading AI quotes and emails.

Can I ask for the module I need?

Yes. You post a request on the board and members vote. Every Monday the most-voted open request is drafted, checked by a separate reviewer and published within seven days.

How many modules are there?

As of 3 November 2026, two are published. The list grows by one request a week, so this course is young and we do not claim a large library.
